Council Advisory Committee Nominations

Join a Council Advisory Committee and participate in Council's decision-making process

We are committed to ensuring there is two-way communication and understanding between the community and Council. To facilitate this, we convene and support a variety of Advisory and Consultative Committees.

These Committees consider and advise on a wide range of local issues by providing a discussion forum for Council representatives, local stakeholders and community members.

Council is currently calling for members of the Lane Cove community to become involved as representatives for several of our Advisory Committees:

• Access and Age-Friendly Advisory Committee
• Bushland Management Advisory Committee
• Bicycle Advisory Committee
• Lane Cove Festival Committee
• Public Art Advisory Committee
• Sustainability Advisory Committee
• Companion Animal Advisory Committee
• Sporting Club Advisory Committee
• Youth Advisory Group
• Inclusion Advisory Committee (name to be determined)

How to nominate

Before completing and submitting the online nomination form, it is essential that you read the relevant Committee Charter/s and the Code of Conduct, available via the above links.

Council will review all nominations and contact successful candidates.

Lane Cove Council is forming a committee dedicated to fostering an inclusive, connected, and equitable community for all residents. This committee will work to address the unique needs of residents who may face specific challenges due to age, abilities, cultural or linguistic backgrounds, socio-economic status, gender, or other personal circumstances. To ensure this committee reflects our community’s values and aspirations, we want your input in selecting its name!
