Meet Your Neighbours events 2026/2027

Residents can apply to receive up to $250 to host a ‘Meet Your Neighbours’ event in their street or building complex to help build a sense of connection and belonging within their community.

This initiative is being delivered to support the Relationships Australia, Neighbours Every Day campaign, which promotes social connection and encourages people to build positive relationships with their neighbours.

For more information on the program, please read the Meet Your Neighbours Guidelines attached to the side of this page. For support with planning your event, check out the Meet Your Neighbours toolkit for event templates and ideas.

This program will run until funding allocation is exhausted or the event close off date of Sunday 2 May 2027.
