NOTICE OF PROPOSAL TO ISSUE A LEASE ON COMMUNITY LAND

GALUWA RECREATION CENTRE (formerly Lane Cove Sport and Recreation Centre)

Pursuant to section 47 of the Local Government Act 1993, Lane Cove Council hereby provides public notice that it intends to issue a lease for Operation and Management of Food, Beverage, and Events Service(s) to Sydney Sports Management Group Pty Ltd (ABN 52 621 961 377) in respect of the land specified in Schedule 1 (below), for the Term and Purpose specified in Schedule 2 below (below).

SCHEDULE 1 – Description of Land

The Galuwa Recreation Centre (formerly Lane Cove Sport and Recreation Centre) and Golf Course located at 180 River Road, Lane Cove.

Lands on which the Galuwa Food, Beverage, and Events Service(s) are located, include the following folio identifiers:

That part of Folio Identifiers 1-6/8423 and further identified as part of Lot 1 in an unregistered plan (provisional DP 1297986)

SCHEDULE 2 - Nature of Proposal

Council proposes to issue a lease for Operation and Management of Food, Beverage, and Events Service(s) to Sydney Sports Management Group Pty Ltd (ABN 52 621 961 377).

Term: the proposed term of the lease is seven (7) years (with an additional five (5) year option). Estimated commencement date is 1 July 2026.

Purpose: To advise of Council’s intention to issue a lease for Operation and Management of Food, Beverage, and Events Service(s) to Sydney Sports Management Group Pty Ltd (ABN 52 621 961 377).
