Council is in receipt of a Planning Proposal to de-list a heritage item at 1 Austin Crescent, Lane Cove. The applicant for the development is Urbanism Pty Ltd.
Please note that while comment is invited, this notification is not part of the “Gateway” community consultation process. “Gateway” refers to the later, official process for seeking and considering the views of the community as required by the Department of Planning, which only occurs after Council has assessed the Planning Proposal and sought the Department’s permission to consult.
The submissions period has now closed.
Council reported the Proposal to the April 2026 Council meeting, it was endorsed (with amendments) and has been forwarded to the State Government for a Gateway Determination. Once received a separate public consultation will be undertaken.
