2027 Placements

We are commencing our placement process for 2027. We need to know the following information to help provide the care you may require in 2027.

Please note the following: 

1. There is a two day/week minimum enrolment with one day to be either a Monday or Friday. 
2. We will do our best to accommodate your request.    
3. Any changes to enrolment (days and/or rooms) will take effect from the first week of January 2026.
4. Kindy Cove will close for 2026 at 12:30pm on Thursday, 24 December 2026 and reopen on Tuesday, 5 January 2027 at 7:30am.
5.  Children starting school in 2027 will finish their enrolment at Kindy Cove by 24 December 2026 (or earlier). If care in January is requested, it will only be provided subject to availability. 
6. Care in January for school leavers is not guaranteed. We suggest contacting your new school for their Vacation Care, (OOSH) Out of School Hours arrangements for booking procedures and deadlines. Places do book out quickly, so please look into this early.
7. For children who are undecided about attending school in 2027, we need a final decision by 31 October 2026. If your child is remaining in Kindy Cove in 2027, please indicate on your feedback form the days you will require and flag in the final comments section that you are undecided about school attendance for 2027.
8. For children leaving Kindy Cove in 2026, completing this submission is accepted as giving your required 4 weeks notice to end your enrolment at Kindy Cove. 
9. For children who are intending to drop days early in 2027, we would appreciate your courtesy letting us know so we can plan appropriately now for any vacancies that may occur in 2027. We will facilitate your child maintaining your existing days until your alternative plans take effect. 
10. Siblings on our Waitlist will be emailed separately to update their requests and maintain their place on the Waitlist via the Parent Portal. Offers will be made as soon as existing enrolments have been finalised. 
11. A submission needs to be made separately for every child currently enrolled at Kindy Cove, even if there are no changes required. 
12. All submissions are due by Monday, 24 August 2026.
