Lane Cove Council is seeking your feedback on a revised Events Management Policy that sets a new direction for how we plan, deliver and evaluate our public events program.
The updated Policy moves away from a volume-based approach toward a more purposeful model that measures what really matters: meaningful outcomes for our community, culture, and local economy. It also embeds stronger sustainability principles, ensuring environmental, social and financial considerations are built into every stage of event planning and delivery.
Community outcomes
Events aligned to the Community Strategic Plan with clear, measurable benefits.
Sustainability
Environmental, social and financial responsibility embedded from planning through to evaluation.
Accessibility and inclusion
Consistent delivery standards that ensure events are welcoming to everyone.
Have your say
We want to hear from residents, eventgoers, community organisations and local businesses. Your feedback will help shape how Council's events serve Lane Cove for years to come.
Please fill in the form below or email us at service@lanecove.nsw.gov.au with the Subject: SU6840 by 21 July 2026.
