Call for Expressions of Interest: Sustainability Lane Stallholders 2026
Lane Cove Council is inviting Expressions of Interest (EOIs) from stallholders for Sustainability Lane 2026, taking place on Sunday 11 October, 9:00am – 4:00pm at The Canopy, Lane Cove, as part of the Lane Cove Rotary Fair.
What is Sustainability Lane?
Sustainability Lane is a vibrant annual event delivered by Lane Cove Council within the broader Lane Cove Rotary Fair. It celebrates and promotes sustainable living through interactive stalls and activities hosted by local businesses, community groups, and organisations. Stallholders showcase products, services, and initiatives that contribute to a more sustainable future for Lane Cove. In 2025, the Rotary Fair attracted approximately 18,000 attendees, including both local residents and visitors from across Sydney.
What do I get as a stallholder?
Participating in Sustainability Lane is a great opportunity to:
- Showcase your sustainable products or services to the local community
- Connect with like-minded organisations and businesses
- Collaborate with Council on a well-established community event
Stallholders will be provided with a standard 2.4m x 2.4m fete stall, tables, tablecloths, and chairs. You are also welcome to provide your own stall structure, subject to approval during the formal application process. If you have previously held a stall at Sustainability Lane, you are encouraged to submit an EOI. We will also be in touch with previous stallholders in July.
Is there a cost involved?
There is a fee to participate, which helps cover the costs of marquees and event services. Lane Cove Council may, at its discretion, waive fees for charitable or not-for-profit organisations (supporting documentation will be required). Final stallholder fees will be confirmed when formal applications open.
Am I guaranteed a stall?
Submitting an EOI does not guarantee a place. Stallholders will be selected based on:
- The sustainability focus of their products, services, or organisation
- Their ability to actively engage with event attendees
Please note: stallholders must not promote political parties or electioneering material (e.g. party logos, campaign brochures). Content must be issue-based and not aligned with any political party.
Important notes
- Formal applications will open in July 2026. If you submit an EOI, you will be contacted directly with the application link and further details.
- This is an Expression of Interest only. To be considered, all applicants must complete a formal application when it opens in July. Please also pass this form on to any other businesses/organisations you think would be interested in holding a stall.
