Draft 2026/27 Budget & Operational Plan

Draft 2026/27 Budget, Operational Plan, other associated Resource Plans and Policies.

Council is consulting with the community on its suite of Draft Integrated Planning and Reporting Plans for 2026/27, including the:

1. Draft 2026/27 Budget Overview,

2. Draft 2026/27 Operational Plan (including the Draft Capital Works Program for 2026/27, the Draft Revenue Policy for 2026/27 and the Draft Fees and Charges for 2026/27), and

3. Associated Resource Plans that help support the Draft 2026/27 Operational Plan.

We welcome feedback from the community on our suite of integrated planning and reporting documents, those being:

• Draft 2026/27 Operational Plan
• Draft Resourcing Strategy
• Draft Long Term Financial Plan
• Draft Strategic Asset Management Plan; and
• Draft Workforce Management Plan

Also attached is a 'Draft 2026/27 Budget Overview' which provides a quick snapshot of Council's financial position, key capital projects to be undertaken during 2026/27 and the wide range of sustainability levy funded projects earmarked for 2026/27.

Draft Policies

As part of the preparation of the Draft 2026/27 Operational Plan and Budget, a number of policies have been developed. These policies are:

• Draft Restricted Cash (Reserves) Policy
• Draft Infrastructure Asset Management Policy

Council welcomes feedback from the community on these Draft Policies, which can be found under the section ‘Documents’.
