Are you over 55 or a carer of a person over 55?

Do you have knowledge or experience in addressing the challenges of an ageing population?

Lane Cove Council is seeking applications from local residents and service providers to join Council's Age-Friendly Advisory Committee and assist Council in the addressing the current and future needs of Lane Cove's ageing population.

Community members must be either:

a) a person with lived experience themselves or the carer of a person who is over 55; or

b) have a demonstrated knowledge or experience in addressing the challenges of an aging population.

Service providers must:

Represent a non-profit organisation providing services that improve the access and inclusion to residents of the Lane Cove area.

You can submit your nomination by completing the survey

Paper nominations forms may also be collected from and submitted at the Council Civic Centre, 48 Longueville Road, Lane Cove. You can submit a nomination form via:

Nominations open Friday 1 September and close midnight Sunday 1 October 2023.
