Draft Affordable Housing Policy

Council previously exhibited a draft Affordable Housing Policy. The draft policy:

• Outlines Council's position and approach to the provision of affordable rental housing within the Local Government Area.
• Includes a policy statement roadmap of future Council actions and expectations related to the provision of Affordable Housing.
• Sets out the mechanisms to support Affordable Housing in Lane Cove.

The draft policy was publicly exhibited from Tuesday 9 June to Tuesday 21 July 2026 (closing at 5pm).

This policy and a response to the submissions will now be reported up to a future meeting of Council.
