Proposal to Install Parking Restrictions on Sofala Ave Riverview beside Marjorie York Park
Council is proposing to install about 30-metres of ‘2P 8.30am-6pm, All Days’ signage on Sofala Avenue beside Marjorie York Park, to improve resident’s access to the park by removing vehicles and trailers parking for extended periods in this area. See attached plan.
What is being proposed?
Install about 30-metres of ‘2P 8.30am-6pm, All Days’ signage on Sofala Avenue, Riverview beside Marjorie York Park. Enough space for about five vehicles.
Benefits of the proposal
Improve access to Marjorie York Park for residents, and families with children by allowing them to park on Sofala Avenue beside the Park.
Discourage vehicles and trailers parking on Sofala Avenue beside the Park for extended periods.
